All those who are upgrading the WordPress and are encountering “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page” problem while trying to login to wp-admin in wordpress you should try the following

Solutions

Disable Plugins – from admin panel if you have access else using ftp

or try a forced upgrade of the datase. Use the beautiful script from Mark Jaquith for Upgrading the database.

It can be because of plugins and disabling and enabling them one by one you can find the culprit or try a database upgrade and the problem would be fixed.

This technique is pretty simple but sometimes you tend to think that you need a plugin to do this. If you want to stop people commenting on your posts after a some time or from begining of the publication you can do so from the Write post window.

To the right of the write post screen thr is menu called Discussion. Initially the checkboxes for Allow comments and Allow pings will be checked. You can uncheck them to disable comments in that post.

Once you have unchecked the checkboxes you are done!. You can like this disable comments to any posts in your wordpress. I know this is simple but just writing it down for those people who dosent seen to explore and experiement first.
