Kingston 32GB Fake USB Scandal

Last week i happened to buy a 32GB kingston USB 2.0 Data traveller. The offer was so tempting that we couldnt resist from buying a 32GB USB.

We bought the USB from a guy we met in one of the top malls in cochin. The guy sold the USB for 1000rs to us. We later figured out from the shop keepers there that they bought the same for 500rs. They said a courier guy came and said he got a missaddressed courier and he want to sell off the consignment. A little bit of bargain and everypeople ended up buying 3 and 4 USB’s for Rs 500 from the guy.

The problem is that the USB dosent work properly. You can transfer data upto 11GB and more than that the transfer hangs. There is also problem recovering data from the USB. If you stop the transfer the USB renames itself into some symbols and all the files and folders also get corrupt and has strange file names.

We are trying to find out a solution to this as lots of my friends bought the same. The guy usuallly approaches Offices and Malls and says the same thing. So next time somebody comes to you! Guys Beware. DO not BUY!

Note: Upto 4GB the USB seems to work fine. I’ll update more here on the status!

Aamir Khans Hindi Movie Gajini Review and Climax

I never miss watching big releases on the first day. Managed to get tickets for Gajini today after making some calls and without standing in the queue. All online reservations where full, but lucky me got ticket. 

Suryas Tamil Gajini

Before i start off i must just go back and do a quick Glimse of Suryas Tamil Gajini. I believe that was one awsome movie and asin had acted pretty wonderful in it. The scene in which she was hit to death was acted with sheer brilliance. The songs was mind blowing. It still stays and i love the beet “Suttum vidi”.

Aamir Khans Hindi Gajini Review

Note: For those who have seen the tamil Gajini the story is just ditto, except for the climax part. 

The story is about taking revenge for killing His love. Aamir Khan (Sanjay) is the owner of a cellphone company and he comes back home after studies to take his dad’s business and head the company. Asin (Kalpana) is a struggling model who works for a local add agency.  Sanjays people come to meet Kalpana to discuss about keeping a hoarding of the cellphone company on top of her house and she says no. The people mistakes it for Proposal and thinks Sanjay and Kalpana are going around. Kalapana takes up the opportunity and agrees to the gossip. Local magazine prints the news and then sajay comes to meet Kalpana.

Kalpana mistakes sanjay to be a model and offers him modelling assignments. They go around and finally sanjay propose. Then a series of event happens which leads to the killing of Kalapana and the loss of memory of Sanjay. Sanjay suffers from short term memory loss and cant remember anything for more than 15 minutes. The story is about Sanjay taking revenge for the Killing. I would leave it for you guys to watch and figure it out.

The Hindi Gajini climax is different from tamil gajini. Here there is no double role of villian in the climax scenes. He kills the villian the same way as Kalapana is killed.

I felt asin dint act that well in the hindi version as the Tamil one. The songs in hindi are good but the buzz wont stay long as the tamil gajini.

Gajini would definitely be a hit and i would rate it with a 3.5 out of 5.

Whats your Browsing habit?

Something which i have been trying to ask people for quiet a long time. If you are confused by the term browsing habbit, then let me get the meaning what i meant to you. By browsing habit i meant the sites you visit, the frequency etc. Do u visit random websites everyday?

I seem to be stuck with some social networking sites, youtube, Emails and the messengers on majority of my days and rest of the days when im in the urge to know and collect the news i end up being in digg,stumble, reddit etc.

Majority of the people i know for them internet is either just for chat,emails and orkut (or any other social networking website).

So now let me ask you. What’s your browsing habit? Which sites u visit daily?

Quite a bad time to have Elections!

Election Commission of India has announced the date of elections in 5 states in India. Except Chattisgarh all other four states will have a single day election while Chattisgarh it happens in two phases.

Election Schedule

• Chattisgarh has a total of 90 seats and 39 will go to poll on November 14th and voting for the rest 51 seats will happen on November 20th.
• Delhi - 70 seats - November 29th.
• Madhya Pradesh - 230 - November 25th.
• Mizoram - 40 seats - Nov 29th.
• Rajasthan - 200 - december 4th.

Last Day at Work at Bangalore

Today is my last day at work and i complete two years of my working life after college. So from Next week im officially going Jobless.

I had put my paper on July 30th and served a two month Notice. I expected the notice period to crawl, but somehow it went fast. Now i need to gear up myself for studies. I badly wanted this break from work

The best part of my working experience was the friendships i made, How to understand the Office politics.

I hope by this time next year i would be sitting in a College doing my MBA!. Wish me luck guys! n expect more scraps @ JAS

What the hell is K.I.L.B?

If you had reached here searching for K.I.L.B you would have watched the Irfan Khan advertisement on TV or hoardings. But what the hell is K.I.L.B? Well to be honest nobody knows what K.I.L.B is! some believe K.I.L.B to be an advertisement from vodafone and some say it to be the advertisement by Bigadda of their relaunch as a poster of Irfan Khan with tag Kyunki I Love Bigadda (KILB) is also circulating.

Since vodafone brings a number of add’s featuring Irfan Khan one can strongly believe it to be a Vodafone advertisement pre-planned for the release of iPhone. If this is the case then we can see soon the next series of advertisements where the Doctor Irfan khan treating patients who are desperate to get hold of iphone. I hope to see a good series on add campaigns in line for the K.I.L.B
