Should Naveen Ningappa be Freed of paedophilia charges?

Naveen Ningappa, 28 years was arrested in the US on paedophilia charges and has been serving his prison sentence in a Pennsylvania jail for the past 9 months. Naveen ningappa hails from Chitradurga, Karnataka.

The Story

He met a 12 year girl online and chatted with her. She tempted him to meet her. he postponed the meeting for a week and finally when he left out to meet her, he was arrested at the meeting place. The 12 year girl he was chatting was a undercover detective agent who was in the look out for people who are patrolling the internet to find children. Naveen has sent four letters home and in all he claims he is innocent and he is being framed. It is believed from the US side of the story that he carried condoms and Gifts along with him.

Does he deserve Mercy?

The big question is should be be freed? Should the Indian government  interfere? He actually never met her nor did he have sex with her. It can be true that his intentions may not be true, but it was mentioned that he was tempted by the girl itself into meeting her. He may have fallen for this “tempting”.

Well i would say let’s not make things complicated. The Indian side of the story and the US side of the story differs on the intentions of Naveen Ningappa. The only thing we can say his he has already served 9 months in jail. Now please deport him to India. Let him get a life!

Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI) is an index by means of which the levels of corruption in a country is determined. A higher score means less corruption. The CPI gathers data from sources that span the last two years (for the CPI 2007, this includes surveys from 2007 and 2006). The CPI 2007 is calculated using data from 14 sources originated from 12 independent institutions. All sources measure the overall extent of corruption ( frequency and/or size of bribes) in the public and political sectors and all sources provide a ranking of countries, i.e., include an assessment of multiple countries.

The Least Corrupt Country is Denmark followed by Finland, New zealand, Singapore and Sweden. The most corrupted countries in the world are mynmar and Somalia.

Mukesh Ambani’s Antilla worth 2 Billion Dollars is World’s Richest Home

Forbes has named Antilla as the World’s Richest Home. Owned by Mukesh Ambani Antilla is  27 Storeyed(60 storey high) and is estimated to be worth 2 Billion Dollars. Forbes has released Pictures of Antilla.

Antilla will cost more than a hotel or high-rise of similar size because of its custom measurements and fittings. A hotel has a common layout, replicated on every floor, and uses the same materials throughout the building (such as door handles, floors, lamps and window treatments). No two floors are alike in either plans or materials used. At the request of Nita Ambani, say the designers, if a metal, wood or crystal is part of the ninth-floor design, it shouldn’t be used on the eleventh floor, for example. Baby Born with Two Heads and one Body!

Lali is lucky to be alive and it is definitely a miracle. She is no ordinary baby, she is born with four eyes, two noses, two mouths and two ears at a village 50km away from delhi. The report on IBNLive says, she is been cashed upon for her rare medical birth by the village head and her parents.Villagers are building a temple in her name and worshipping her.

I must say this is another part of India. Its so hard to change the mindset of certan section of people even when we say we are being educated (no i dint mean these villagers). I sincerely wish Lali a long life

Biranchi Das the Coach of Budhia is Shot dead!

Marathon kid Budhia Singh’s coach was shot dead by unidentified gunmen in Bhubaneswar on Sunday. Biranchi Das was taken to a city hospital after the incident, where he was declared brought dead.

Now that is a shocking news! Though Biranchi was one guy who shot Budhia and himself to Fame by exploiting(?) budhias long distant running ability. There was wild protests from around the country and finally Budhia was banned from running. I had been following up on budhia in this blog. A tragic end to a coaching career. Did he invite this? why he was killed? well now it’s all left for us to do the guessing

Bad teacher Act - Rinky Kaushik is dead!

Earlier i had posted about Rinky Kaushik who would be missing her boards due to her teacher hitting her on the Head. Im pretty much sorry to post this! Rinky kaushik died after battling for her life for over months in coma.

Rinky was repeatedly thrashed by her teacher  Dhirendra Kumar Dinkar  with a stick in November 2007. Rinky Kaushik was a resident of Mayur Vihar, Phase-III and was lying at the ICU of Maharaja Agrasen Hospital at Punjabi Bagh since January 7, 2008.

Dinkar, who happens to be the son of the principal of the school Dinkar National Model School  was beaten up by Rinky for refusing to take private tuitions from him, after having opted for another tutor.

The Delhi government has de-recognised Dinkar National Model School in east Delhi. Atleast a good jesture in the end! May rinky’s Soul rest in peace!!! Prayers!
