Will Kochi have an Official IPL team?

The big question lies in the fact whether Kochi can be one of the new two teams allotted for IPL 2011. With Mohanlal and priyadarshan moving out of the race and the new bids been issued, and the fact that Ahmedabad and nagpur are the major competitors, Can Kochi really have a IPL 2010 team?
Major Bidders for Kochi IPL 2011 Team
- Ashok Piramal Group is part of a consortium that includes the Jaypee Group, Shree Ram Group of Industries, Rosy Blue India Pvt. Ltd and Anchor Electricals Pvt. Ltd.
- Muthoot Pappachan Group
- Abu Dhabi’s Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed al-Nahyan, the owner of EPL side Manchester City.
- YusufAli MA, M.D of EMKE group
Even though Kochi has the money to buy IPL Teams, WE will have to wait till March 22nd to know whether Kochi (Kerala) will really have a dream IPL TEAM.
