Thanks a lot for your post. One guy offered same to us today and we are checking whether the GB is correct or not. Just got doubt about the finishing and packaging got into google search.

Find this post and very happy to read this. Just saved mine Rs 400 + my friends money too.

The image posted helped us to identify the fake immediately.

This happened with me in Pune.
Bought it for really cheap and now I am using it as a 1 gb pen drive.

Lost 500 Rs.

Please be aware guys. Even the hologram on the packing is fake.

This happens in Bangalore too. I brought the same for Rs 500. Initially he said 1200 and we negotiated for 500 since we brought 4 Nos. We tried formatting it while checking. The formatting was successful and we brought it. But later when we tried to copy more data it changes to write protected mode.

Be aware of Fake Kingston 32 GB pendrive
Hi … me too experienced the same,
2 guyz approached me and told they have 32 GB pendrive and they can give it for 500
(initially told Rs.1300). The package looked original so before buying we tried to check
whether its working or not,He gave us 3 peices to us to check and come when plugged to the PC all 3 showed 31.2 GB of free space. In the mean while
1 of my friend searched in the google and reported about this blog.

Thanks for the comments, we have not bought the fake Kingston 32 GB pendrive.
(we have a thought of buying 2 pieces)
