Vodafone Announces the Price of Iphone India

Vodafone has sent out an official mail to all those people who have pre-registered with vodafone India announcing the booking of Iphone India. iPhone 3G will be available in India from August 22, 2008.

iPhone will be available in 8GB & 16GB models in India, priced at Rs 31,000 and Rs 36,100 respectively. With limited stocks, to make sure that you get yours you need to  pay an advance of Rs 10,000 to confirm your booking.

Where can you make this advance payment for iPhone?
The iPhone 3G will be available at select Vodafone Stores. All you need to do is drop in at any select Vodafone Store between August 20 and 21 and make the advance payment by cash or credit card. You need to show them the iPhone booking SMS, which you would have received from Vodafone while registering.

Once you pay the advance, Vodafone will immediately give you an appointment date and time, starting August 22 when you can come and experience a full demonstration and collect your iPhone, all ready to use with your contacts and settings, by paying the balance amount.

      The Federal Housing Administration is losing so much money on due mortgage loans that its stockpiles will drop off under the imposed 2% of loans, FHA Commissioner David Steven in a narration written Friday. Stevens pronounced the agency would announce steps on Friday to hike the reserves, without asking Congress to bail out the agency. The FHA will ask that banking companies carry obligation for losses due to fraud, he pronounced. The FHA is nowadays assuring about 23% of recent mortgages, up from about 3% in 2006.
