Tara Tiny the Worlds Cheapest car is priced under a lakh!
Before nano could hit the roads we have a new car which is cheaper than they much hyped Nano. Tara Tiny and Tara Titu are zero Emission electric cars and costs only Rs 99,000 and manufactured by Tara International.
At the moment, four variants of electric cars are ready at the Tara International factory at Palta, a few kilometers from Kolkata. These are Tara Tiny, Tara Titu (two-seater and four-seater, respectively), Tara Shuttle, and Tara Carrier. While Tara Tiny and Tara Titu are priced at Rs 99,000 (approximately), Tara Shuttle and Tara Carrier are priced at Rs 500,000 (approximately).
A daily 8-hour charge enables cars to travel 80 to 100 km. These cars cannot run faster than 50 kms an hour. But then that is supposed to be the sane speed for confined and populated areas.
Specifications of Tara Tiny are as follows:

This Tara Tiny is obviously the same car (except with four wheels) as the ZAP Xebra being sold in the United States for $10,000 plus. That gives you an idea of how much Americans are being gouged! Judging by the performance of the ZAP Xebra, the car will not go 100 kilometers, but more like 30 km. That is okay for a daily commute, but it just shows how unrealistic these claims for electric car range always turn out to be. The ZAP Xebra is sold with 3 wheels in the USA to get it classed as a motorcycle, avoiding expensive safety requirements for cars.

Thanks for supplying some reliable recommendations on this topic. I have located a wide variety of reliable information about travel tips and some unreliable suggestions. Do you have any more savvy ideas or places on the Internet that I can find more detailed suggestions? This would be much appreciated! So, continue the good work!
