Finance minister P. Chidambaram has approved a Bill which comes into effect on 01.04.2008 and it states that all privately Held companies need to give a minimum salary increment of 7.5% to all employees every six months.This comes as a relief to petitioners appealing against the growing work hours in the Privately Held organizations and which do not have a proper system to check overtime.

The bill also mentions that all employees be provided 25 days of casual leave every year.Please see the attached document for the list of companies which will be brought under the umbrella of the Bill in the first round of Implementation. And if the name of your company features in the list, kindly circulate this mail among your colleagues.

Bollywood Actor Akshay Kumar is the Brand Ambassador for Delhi dare Devils

Akshay Kumar signed on as the brand ambassador for Indian Premier League’s (IPL) Delhi Daredevils Twenty20 cricket team.

“I belong to Delhi and this my team. I always like cricket and I am a firm believer in sportsman spirit,” said Akhsay.

Assisted suicide has been legal in Switzerland since 1942 providing a doctor has been consulted and the patient is aware of the consequences of his decision.If Perfusor becomes a reality Germany would be the destination for people who like to take off their life.

Dignitas argued that gassing was faster than poisonous injection because helium did not require a prescription, eliminating the cost and the time involved in finding a sympathetic doctor.

The machine would be lent or rented so that the patients could insert the needles themselves and then push the button releasing the potassium chloride, used to execute Death Row prisoners in some US states. Supporters say the machine will bring about death in seconds. Death Row cases suggest the process could be longer. One of the responsibilities of the organisation lending the machine will be to consult with doctors about the exact dosage.
