Gates 360 - Now it’s time for Paid networking!
Gates360 is a new social networking website which is yet to be launched. The guy behind is Rajesh M Puliyara, a Mphil student at Center for Development Studies.
This site is named after room no #360 ,Gates building , Standford University.The same room where google was born, where the founders Larry and Sergey stayed.
The front page is just a web based search based on google and what exactly makes Gates360 talked about? It’s a paid social networking websites, which claims only to have only genuine members in the run. The membership Fees $3. Now for such a small fees with life long membership, how can they be sure that there wont be FAKES in a social networking website? In the world of fast growing web advertisements, people are paying thousands of dollars for advertising, then spending a mere 3$ for getting a fake profile is no big deal. Somehow got a bad feeling that the concept wont kick out in Big scale unless some more authentic ways to make profile unique is done(if there was a way, im sure biggies would have implemented it long time back, OPENID is a good idea though).
The site layout did not impress me at all, The Signup page dosent look professional. Long time since i have entered my AGE in a text box in a social networking website, here you get a chance to do that( is that what you call different from other social networking?). Getting the date of birth was a better idea though.
Pages Like Confirm Payment page after signup can be accessed directly.Wonder how they track User id’s here for the payments??? I did not digg much,but guess the site can be hacked easily.
What say geeks on gates360??? Would you mind shelling $3 here in this website??
Finally a note to add, the site isnt officialy launched. So can we look for some changes?? But then why the hell is it online?

So it looks like he is gathering 3 million dollars online…it can be a scam….but treating individually 3$ is not a big amount for people to think of sheling

Its another AMWAY out there. why you need 3$ fee make it unpaid and free.
This a quick and easy way of making money and cheap publicity.
He and his group( behind gates360)has began the heavy task of defaming popular websites like Orkut etc buy word of mouth and media. so that he can attract members to his paid site in name of genuinity.
Please do as much as possible from your side to defame this gates360 site.Because its easy money like the (AMWAY)

we are not here to defame anybody. The only thing is that we wont mind paying if things are good. The site needs a lot of improvement. Not just the idea, you need to have some stuff to show also. Also i feel the security isnt that great, How can somebody access the confirm page directly?
Rajesh need to put in more time, a strong team who cand design and the code the website better….

even i feel that this is a scam.. after all who wants to pay 3 $ to join this site when u already have other popular free options like orkut, facebook etc.. whats the point? the guy is very clever..hes just using googles brand name to make this site popular.. i wonder why google doesnt react? any idea?

@lakshmi well got no idea on how google has reacted to this. But he has got the trademarks done i believe!! anyways let us all see how his simplified innovaction can do any wonder online!
