See all unread mails in GMAIL
I always had this problem of seeing all my unread mails in gmail. I used to keep some mails unread and then later forget about it completely. Then after some days its a tedious task to go back and find out the unread mail because it would be pages away. It would have been nice if gmail had the option to view all unread mails. Today i came to know how to see all unread emails in Gmail.

Type “is:unread” in the search and it will display all unread emails in your inbox. A simple but pretty useful command. You can also try creating a filter with this keyword,so you can access all your unread email in a click
Type “lable:unread” in the search. This will also display all the unread mails in Gmail.- You can also try this greesemonkey plugin to show unread messages button next to the search box.The button toggles to a “Show All” button when in unread-only mode.
You could also try creating a filter and apply a label for unread messages. The filter should be made such that it should contain “is:unread” in the has field of the filter. The problem with this is that, Once you have read a unread mail, the label dosent go off(which will later make no impact as inbox). But as you read if you can unlabel, then a filter with label sounds good too.
