Secrecy in a relationship?
I just happened to come across this article in Ibnlive lifestyle with title she wants our relationship to be a secret. So very true and wonderful article i must say. Though to some points i do not agree. Let me take it out their heading and put my thoughts in!
1. S/ he does NOT introduce you to friends and keeps you a secret:
It can be due to fear, fear that things wont work out (religion,parental pressure,family status etc etc). But the majority of the people who are in love(real love) would never hide it from their close circle, thought from the rest of the world they would love to maintain the secrecy just to put down the gossips that might happen and just to avoid the impact if things cant work out. If he/she dosent introduce you to close friend circle, then he/she may not be liking you with whole heart. I guess then you shouldnt waste your time on this affair.
2. S/ he does not talk to you (as much) anymore
As Jhomur Bose from IBNLive said it can be due to the fact that she isnt intrested in you many more. It can also be due to reduce the impact of the split(when you realise it completely that things wont work out even if you are madly in love with each other). You then try not to talk as much as you would used to talk. Though you might be missing him/her the most. As the rule says the lesser the time spend together,the better the chances to get back life to normal. Out of talks /Sight with time, out of mind too(never can be it a complete removal)
3. S/he is ignoring you.
I really dont know how to answer this. Once a person is showing sudden intrest and then one day start ignoring you . This to a part you can compare it with point 2. If she really dosent pick your calls or dosent reply to your mails. She is not at all intrested in you anymore. You should not waste your time and thoughts on it anymore.
4. S/ he hopes you will find someone “better” for yourself:
She already has found one and she wants you also to move ahead. This is the typical breakage line. I guess im not that good enough for you, and you should truely deserve somebody better than me. It can be also used as a typical Prick line just to hurt and play with feelings and to make one realise how much deep they are in love. But in general this is the most famous and most used break up line!
5. S/ he wants to be ‘friends’ with you forever
Bull shit!!! you love each other for months or years! n one day you ask to be friends What crap it is!! the feelings in love and friendship are not the same! Once a lover(the most true friend), the lover can never be a friend again. Though you would feel like being friends(you say that purely due to the missing factor), that will never help you. You decided to split, so let make it a complete split. No calls/ No mails /No scrap / No meet ups!
The secrecy in relationship can be maintained (im not talking of extra maritial affairs) when you feel that there are people around you keeping a keen check on you(even if you are not celebrity). Once you break the ice, i guess the people around you would talk for sometime and they cant go on n talk for long. With time everything fades, new things and new situations come in and your just a lil peice of love wont be the topic anymore. If you love, love with your heart and never step back in admitting you do!!!
It’s more painful to realise that the one you love, dosent value your love!!
