Microsoft Blogger meet Bangalore

Date : Saturday 16th Feb 4PM? (as usual blogger meets never starts on time and started by 4.30)

Before the Meet

Since ive been off blogging for quite some time i wasnt keep a track of events and missing the usual blogalorean meets but when came to know of a Indiblogger meet at bangalore and that too at microsoft how the hell can i miss it? I registered and decided to go!

On the day!

As usual on the day it’s pretty lazy to make a move with seconds thoughts should i go?y should i? what if some chicks are there? what if i meet some same wavelength people? all those thoughts pushed me for the meet.

Finally by 3.30 im off from home and reached the Microsoft office campus at Embassy Golf Links at inner ring road bangalore. While i was trying to get inside i tried to phone in and dint notice a benz coming and when it was about to hit me, i moved off. I guess some big shot was inside the Benz and the way those security people gave a salute it made me feel if they bend more they might fell down!(something which happens at the Wagah border but with a big front lean strange style!!!). I wrote my name in the Register after a bit of a confusion! and finally Im In!

Krishna Conference Room, The meet

i got in and to find only 6 to 7 people totally strange to me. i took a seat and waited for some familiar face. Then soon the blogalorean team came in!. The first looks gave a thought of a formal meeting rather than like a blogger meet where you relax and sit.

Well the meet started with Anwin (the guy from indiblogger) did the starting and finally the meet started. The boring and time taking pain round of introductions started. It seems it just a advertising forum for some people to make sure that their blogs go noticed!! doods work on that trick online you might get in more traffic there. Some talked about how they would like to Earn Money Online and other talked about the good people of getting traffic(yea it’s indeed a great motivation). The one guy who made an impact in the introduction round was Comrade Chakra (awsome his sense of humour) and the introduction went on and on….

The microsoft guys gave a small talk on why they sponsored this meet (yea surely they wanted to spread the word about live writer and indeed they did with a small presentation in between). Free Pizzas was provided for the meet.

The indiblogger guys did a small skit on Spam and how it effects the PR ( well made guys). Kudos!!!

Some discussions got heated up in between. Paying auto driver 1000rs per month for doing some advertising on their auto and ask them not to take extra money from passengers( oooof!!!). This topic surely did clear one of my long time doubt which was answered by shridar. I always wondered when i saw advertisements in Autos(behind) , how much did they cost.

Finally it ended with a presentation from Leadcap guys( no comments on that). A situation makes a leader born!!! but surely you can be a leader in your life only and when if you wake up and realize the fact that you can do anything with a bit of effort and hardwork! ( i wasnt sure what kind of leadership they where talking) .

The meet ended by 8.30PM I guess.

After the meet

Room sweet home. Got up on a lazy sunday morning and decides to write about it and that too using window live writer( hey Microsoft!!! thanks for the pizzas). By writing this in live writer i had the doubt what if my windows crashed!! and it did crash, but hey guys it was saved. I just lost two lines. Auto save is there!!! yahooooooooo(oops ) i already did have a post in my drafts which i drafted long time back about live writer with screen dumps. Hope to post it one day!!!!!!!!!
