Rani and Aditya Chopra to wed in May

JAS had earlier posted about Rani’s engagement with aditya chopra in Married men on the hunt by bollywood ladies. Now just to provide an update on to this gossip, Aditya has filed a divorce against Payal Khanna. The divorce, by mutual consent, will be final in May. The couple is now living out the 6 month mandatory seperation.

If it all goes fine then Rani Mukherjee would be tieing Knots with Aditya chopra in May 2008.
Yash Chopra and mom Pamela(Adi’s parents) are not happy with the situation, that they have refused to accept Rani.It’s not just the Chopras who disapprove of their son’s alliance, Rani’s parents aren’t thrilled with it either.

And after the divorce Payal will get Rs 25 crore as alimony.

How to claim the Extra Tax you Paid to Income Tax Deparment

The Income Tax Department has put on its website the list of income tax refunds of all salary tax payers which could not be sent to the concerned persons for want of correct address.

Salary taxpayers who have not received refunds for assessment years 2003-04 to 2006-07 can click on the link below and query using the PAN number and assessment year whether any refund due to them has been returned undelivered from the menu `undelivered salary refund management system’.

If any refund has been returned undelivered due to change in address, then the taxpayer can enter the present address and the refund will be sent to the taxpayer at the new address.

Gates 360 - Now it’s time for Paid networking!

Gates360 is a new social networking website which is yet to be launched. The guy behind is Rajesh M Puliyara, a Mphil student at Center for Development Studies.

This site is named after  room no #360 ,Gates building , Standford University.The same room where google was born, where the founders Larry and Sergey stayed.

The front page is just a web based search based on google and what exactly makes Gates360 talked about? It’s a paid social networking websites, which claims only to have only genuine members in the run. The membership Fees $3. Now for such a small fees with life long membership, how can they be sure that there wont be FAKES in a social networking website? In the world of fast growing web advertisements, people are paying thousands of dollars for advertising, then spending a mere 3$ for getting a fake profile is no big deal. Somehow got a bad feeling that the concept wont kick out in Big scale unless some more authentic ways to make profile unique is done(if there was a way, im sure biggies would have implemented it long time back, OPENID is a good idea though).

The site layout did not impress me at all, The Signup page dosent look professional. Long time since i have entered my AGE in a text box in a social networking website, here you get a chance to do that( is that what you call different from other social networking?). Getting the date of birth was a better idea though.

Pages Like Confirm Payment page after signup can be accessed directly.Wonder how they track User id’s here for the payments??? I did not digg much,but guess the site can be hacked easily.

What say geeks on gates360??? Would you mind shelling $3 here in this website??

Finally a note to add, the site isnt officialy launched. So can we look for some changes?? But then why the hell is it online?

A Car that runs on AIR

You must have joked in the past saying yea run your car using AIR. Well it will never be a joke anymore because Mr Negre an engineer from France has promised that within a year he will start selling a car that runs on compressed air, producing no emissions at all in town.

Tata Motors has signed an agreement with Moteur Development International of France to develop a car that runs on compressed air, thus making it very economical to run and be almost totally pollution free.

Download Sort plugin for Firefox

Are you one of those guys who have mess up your hard disk where you download and put all the crap into almost all the folders and later be lazy to sort those out. Well here is the solution for you!. Download Sort, a great plugin for firefox users which lets you automatically save a particular extension to a particular folder of your choice. All you gotta do is predefine them in the options where a Jpeg image should go, where a zip file should go etc when you right click and download.

Download Sort allows you to save downloads by extension, or by a keyword or regular expression in the URL. After installing the extension, you have to  set up filters ie add an extension say eg: jpg and then choose the folder where it should download to.  Now Download Sort when you right click on a .jpg image  and choose Save Image As, the image immediately downloads into the selected folder.
