9 Hours, 3 Theatres, 3 Movies and 3 Languages!
I guess the subject line says it all. Friday November 9th made it to history in my life with me making a personnel record of watching 3 movies in three different theatres in a single day. All started in the morning when i decided to see OM Shanti OM aka OSO and headed straight to Shenoys theatre in MG road cochin. In between i also made plans to see Chocolate(Malayalam movie). I went first to Kavitha Theatre and booked for Chocolate.I wanted the tickets for second show but got tickets only for first show as the second show was fully reserved by some school. I collected the tickets and headed straight to Shenoys and to my dissapointment the complete balcony was booked/sold out and only first class was there and that too a pretty big queue. Disappointed me dint wanna go back home, so i just headed straight to padma and there no rush was there and i got tickets for Azhagiya Tamil Magan. The show started at 11am.
After Azagiya tamil Magan Starring Vijay and shreya(awsome) which ended by 1.45pm, i still dint wanna go home and come back again for the first show movie which is at 6PM. So i again decided to try for OSO and headed again to Shenoys. There this time i decided to try hard. I tried to get tickets in black and for a Rs 30 ticket it was being sold for Rs 100. So i tried to ask some ladies if they mind taking some ticket for me. I begged one a bit fat female(dressed in blue). She did have the patience to talk to me but said a blunt NO to me. I then headed to the gate of shenoys. There i saw 2 females coming up and i headed straight and spoke to them in English(that worked :d) one female agreed( i believe her name is teena) in between some confusion also happened as some tickets where sold to them by some guy(i dont know why?) and after some more begging, Teena took tickets for me and my brother and some other unknown guy who came in between and utilized the situation to his benefit. Whatever( i hate this word now :d,Keeping hearing it always) i finally got two tickets and went to the First class. The theatre was already full and i found tow seats in front a bit near to the screen. The moment i sat there where a bunch of students from alberts sitting next to me they started removing their shirt n dancing. It was a pain to sit there and the next moment i could see bottles and glasses coming up from the bags and it was soon turned to a mobile bar. I slowly skipped from their n hunted for a seat in a corner. thank god there where two seats in one corner and we occupied that. OSO started and it was a complete entertainer.Kudos to SRk and farah khan.
The Show ended by 5.30. I was already hungry and we headed for a near by hotel and ate Poratha and Beef curry. By 5.45 we left for kavitha again. In the theatre i saw my old school friend with his family. I was in a hurry as one of my college friends had to join me and he still dint reach the theatre. So i said bye to my school friend and headed to theatre and got in. My college friend reached just in time and i got out and gave him ticket and it was all fine. The show started by 6.15Pm and it ended by 8PM.
9 Hours, 3 Languages, 3 Movies and 3 theatres! what an experience!
