Another BPO Murder, This time in Pune
22 year old Jyoti Choudhry, a Wipro BPO employee was found dead today. She was missing from november 1st and has been brutally killed by the Driver of the Cab after raping her.

How safe is night travel?
To be honest not at all. Ive been one of the night rider for some time as i work in a shift(ofcourse it is comfortable for me) andi travel by company provided cabs. It like always expecting something as many of the drivers drive harshly. The Concerned people and department service is quite horrible and inspite of many complaints and escalations, they function the same. These Cab drivers work from morning 6am to next day 1am or something and their frustration levels are quite high. A person who spends 20 hours of his life driving and in a cab? What do u expect of him? Company should provide a better route map and allocate cab for people form the same location. Give Enough rest for the drivers(so that they get some time to spend with their family). Night time if there is a female employee send a guard as an Escort(even for pickup).
I hope at least this time some action will be taken so that we will never hear of such a bad news again.
