In a recent survey it was revealed the top cities to live/settle in India.

The best cities to reside are

• Kochi
• Kozhikode
• Shimla
• Thiruvananthapuram
• Mysore
• Goa
• Thrissur
• Pondicherry
• Kannur
• Thiruvalur.
  

Five of these cities are in God’s Own Country ~ Kerala. Shimla is the only northern city on this list, while Chandigarh, among the few fully planned cities, is not on the list. 

The four metros of New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai did not figure in the list of of ten best cities to reside in, however they where preferred by millionaires to spend their life.

Katrina Dumps Salman?

Rumours are True then Katrana Salman Relationship is in “BOX” now!. Katrina no longer can tolerate the possessive sallu bhai of bollywood.

Events which led to the possible Split

• Salman had pushed Katrina aside when she tried to stop him from drinking too much during Salman’s Birthday bash.
• Salman is not happy with Katrina’s closeness with her Akshay Kumar who was her co-star in Namaste London, also she is doing one more movie opposite Akshay in Vipul Shah’s Singh is King.
• Katrina signed Rajkumar Santoshi’s film opposite Shahid Kapoor. Salman seems to have some problems with Shahid kapoor.
• After watching the promos of the Nadiawala movie “Welcome” Salman called up Nadiadwala and demanded that some changes be made. When Nadiadwala wanted to know what Salman exactly wanted, Salman categorically told him that he was unhappy that Katrina’s skirts were really short, and that he didn’t want him to publicise the film that way.Katrina however asked Nadiwala not to make any changes.

Kerala’s First Private FM Radio: Radio Mango from Manorama

Radio Mango 91.9 Kerala’s First Private FM radio will start broadcasting today from calicut. It’s a 24 hour FM which will be first available in Kozhikode and then later in Cochin,Thrissur and kannur.

Check Vodafone Bill Online

I had written a post earlier on how to check your hutch/Vodafone bills online. Since now the Hutch to Vodafone Transition is Complete and the Hutch.co.in site isnt anymore and is redirecting to the vodafone website i thought i would re-write the article again.

What if i Need to go to my State(Circle) Home Page

From the Vodafone main page you need to Click on the Manage my account Page and you will be taken to the Main Circle Page (http://www.vodafone.in/Vodafone/mv-circle.aspx ) . In this page you can choose your state / Circle.

How can i Sign up / Login to see my Vodafone Mobile Bills? 

Once you choose your cirlce from the main circle page(say you choose Karnataka Vodafone assuming you are in karnataka) you would be taken to the login page of Karantaka with Circle code 007.

Once you are in the Login Page you can either login with your mobile number and password if you have already registered with Hutch and have the 4 digit Pin/Password .

How to Register

If you have a new user you can click on the new user link in the login page and give the necessary details. Once you have done with that you need to Call up the customer care of Vodafone( Customer care number for vodafone is 111 for Vodafone Postapid Users) and you would be asked to choose / enter your Password. Once you are done with that step you can login from web and check your bills online.

Google planning to release Gdrive?

The Wall Street Journal reported Tuesday in its online edition that Google Inc is preparing a service that would enable users to store data from their personal hard drives on its computers.

This would let users store their personnel files,mp3’s and other stuff online which can be accessed from other anywhere over the internet.

The service could be released as soon as a few months from now, the Journal said, citing a source. The newspaper also said Google plans to provide some free storage, with additional storage allotments avaiable for a fee.

Though Google spokeswoman declined to comment on any specific online storage plans beyond what it already offers as part of its email and other services.  So we will have to wait and see whether this news seems to have any element of truth.

There are script available which let you convert your Gmail into a Virtual Disk. Search in google for the same.

Grand Kerala Shopping Festival

If you have not heard about it, hear it now. Kerala is organizing a grand shapping festival titled Grand kerala Shopping festival( GKSF) on the lines of Dubai Shopping Festival.

The Shopping Festival is proposed to be conducted from 1st December 2007 to 31st January 2008 and spread across 14 districts of Kerala State.
