Total Mall Bangalore
Total mall Bangalore came up one month ago in Madiwala bangalore. Total was earlier named Jumbo Saver(i guess). I visited the total mall some two weeks back to check out the Trousers section as my company decided to implement dress code. when you look from outside you might just think it’s just like any other mall,but it’s a bit different.
The ground Floor has shops like Spykar jeans, Cafe Coffee Day, Addidas etc and the next three floor are especially for total mall. It has every product you can imagine off with discounts. From Food to Clothes, House hold items to Electronics you name they have it in Total Mall.
The only Drawback is that once you enter you can only come out after taking a full circle trip of the entire square area of the total mall. Thatz a long walk. You see lots of things on the move(nice business move eh? to make people buy!) and finalyl you reach the exit a nice bakery and food stall awaits you!. The bakery is pretty good one! make sure you eat something from there.
Another thing is parking would be a problem, sad that they dint think of the parking while constructing the building in a crowded area like madiwala market.

The one on Sharjapur road has particularly poor service. It is not the kind of place a serious shopper would like to visit. Getting from the second floor to the basement parking is not possible. Policy is no trolleys in the lift. Staff specially the secrity isrude and unfriendly. Avoid this place if you are going to shop for more than 2kgs of items.

I was a regular shopper at Total, recently i stop visiting Total mall, just because they started charging for the plastic cover. If you complain, they have excuse for been charged for plastic cover ” its for saving the planet from plastic so been charged”. Its great that Total is doing the great job, but my concern is that why are they taking it from customers pocket. Instead why can’t they give it for free. Its ridiculous to see this Total mall behaving like this to the customer.

Total Mall While it looks good but it is not maintained properly and the customers complaint are not taken care seriously. In front of the customer they will give you a treatment as if they are really serious, but once they receive that complaint they take months together to sort it out.
I went with a complaint that, my card was swiped twice for amount (1302 Rs) in one of the transaction. I have reported to them on this issue 5 months back, and then continously tried to get the status, but to no avail.

hi……..im working in a paticular company …but for this mall no sale is going on in good condition coz they provied every things in his brand so all ground floor shop is not give good result so im requste this owner plz just checkkk….thanku

I’ve been reading the comments people have given after mine. I still like the place (I visit the madiwala one) but the problem with the shop now is that they switch off the A/C. and it feels hard to stay there with children.
But the plastic bags being charged: I think this is a nice initiative that they have taken. this is forceing people to bring their own bags. I think this is a nice thing.

I too agree with Jomon.. The plastic bag initiative is really good. Also I like this place (madiwala outlet), as they have lot of varieties. But the view from escalators is am off thing..

I bought a Videocon double door Refrigerator on 27th Sept 2009. The fridge was delivered on 27th itself but it is only working in the testing mode and freezes all the stuff kept in the Refrigerator. Sometimes it doesn’t even work at all.
I called up the Total Mall number on the bill and was redirected to Mr Sreedhar (Mobile# 9611803132) who promised to look into the matter, send a technician and replace the fridge soon. Have been calling him again n again to follow up but I get the same replies all the time. No action has been taken so far.

i went to total mall ,sarjapur road, on 27th sept and bought a tv stand . they promised to deliver it the next day. i got it the next day , but it was the display piece with all the damages. then and there i called them and they promised me to replace that atfer 3 days( as they dont have stock now). but i didnt get it after 3 days. i called up many people but in vain. either they switch off thier cell or they asked me call some one else. now its 7th oct till date i didnt get it. i am thinking to approach the consumer court now.

We ordered a computer table from total mall (madiwala) and made the full payment. As usual they promise to deliver within 5 friday. Everyday after that they call you around 6 pm to inform that next day your product will be delivered. This continues till they get the stock. Those people delivered it after 9 days.
The delivery people dont know to behave properly. And the carpenter along with 2 other delivery guys some how managed to assemble it (just screwing the pieces) after so many trial and error.
And now the next day it started swinging, and the keyboard drawer is hanging down. My keyboard even fell down and I have to keep it on my lap now. Those ***pple dont even know to fix it . I called them the customer service dept. and informed it. Even before hearing me properly they were telling it was fixed perfectly. I asked to give their managers num.(one mr Manish). As raji mentioned they either switch off thier cell or ask to call some one else.
No action has been taken so far and their service is pathetic. Please dont buy any thing from this ****** store if you need any after sales service.

I am a regular customer to Total Mall (Kemfort) since it started, as it is nearby my place. I buy groceries, Bought Dining Table…etc. On 19th October I have purchased a NITRAA living room package (Sofa, TV unit, Phone stand, Tea table and Shoe rack) costing Rs.24,999/-. Delivered it to me the same day since I insisted as I had bad experience earlier. Surprisingly, Phone stand, TV unit Glass doors, and couple of wood planks are not supplied, some parts also damaged as it was a display set. Also misc things like magnet, stoppers,…etc are missing. I have been trying to get it fixed till date (18-11-2009),I am not successful so far.Its disgusting to wait for a new set parts to be fixed for one month. I almost call an alternate day to find out what the situation is. Every time it is surprising for the concerned sales person (Prabhakar: 9611805868) that it has not been supplied!! I am puzzled now what to do and how to get this done (Money full amount paid on Day one). For kind information the price of the Whole set is 22,999/-(http://www.nitraafurniture.com/newexpo/pro4.php) in Tamilnadu.
As some of the above friends mentioned the Technicians who come to deliver the product and fit are not at all competent to do that. Very poor workmanship. Anyway now I am not expecting any after sales service after this episode. I am now thinking to approach the concerned person or consumer court to get the problem solved.
I just would like to share my experience with the consumers to know about this issue.
If they continue to do like this they would be loosing many potential customers like me.

Total mall located at Sarjapur is not up to mark in case of customer service, I have purchased furniture, after several follow ups, it was delivered 18 days late than promised delivery, parking carges are huge.
Parking charges should be free; in fact, mall should give people money as discount as people with car will have higher carrying capacity (more purchasing power), If I am not in a car, I will purchase the stuff that can be easily carried.

I agree with Shampy. I have already commented in this forum. Now I too believe that the standard is coming down. Even the way they handle the customers, and thinking for extra profit by not refunding the parking coupon etc are really making there name bad. There are a lot of new guys in the billing counter who are there just to finish there working hours. I have also tried Sarjapur and the Airport road one. for a change. I felt no big difference in the way they treat the people. Surjapur one was still better.
The guys in the counter were we collect the free items act as if they are really doing some favor for us. Now the bill also does not come with the list of free items that are available for the items purchased.
One more thing I noticed is that I have lost few things from the bag. Once I reach home and check the bag, I found few things missing. This happened to me more than once. but it is therein the bill.
To total guys, it is easy to get a customer for the first time but to retain him, you need to be good in keeping your standard.

Total malls are the verse customer treated malls.
Its not at all prefered going to those malls on weekends as crowd is more and you won’t get parking. They will provide you with valent parking but for getting back the car you have to wait endlessly.
I have gone to old Airport road and madiwala malls. Both are same in poor customer treatment.
People were fighting so much to get back their cars.
Evenif they get the car key will be with some driver and we have to wait for them to get the key.

For all the people who bitch about Total mall,Mall parking and other BS.One word,GO ONLINE. Its easy,you don’t have to drive and pick reliable and repute websites who will deliver to your door step.
Once you get use to this and are comfortable with websites,come to such forums and recommend the sites for the benefit of others.
Online is the NEXTgen and future.

This is Vikash Vaibhaw from Bangalore.i place a order at total mall Madiwala bangalore at 1st floor(Food express stores) Chalan number:-13140 on 16/aug/2010.i made full payment on the same day,i asked Mr.Shabaz to deliver as soon as possible.
But once when come into delivery time they ask money(Rs 400/) for delivery(Shipping charges) saying that you are at 1st floor so will charge for that.He wants me to come at ground floor.
It is clearly mentioned on bill Free Home Delivery within 10KM from Shopping mall.
I am really sorry to inform you about poor service experience by Shabaz and miss selling technique.
He told that i Informed you while booking itself i surprised.I never face this kind of service issue from Total mall.
He called me and asked me to come to mall till then he said that he will hold the delivery.
Here by i request you to update me on this.what i should do in this case.

The cashiers in the total mall are cheaters !!! Be careful !!
Yesterday I shopped in Total Mall Sarjapur Road, Bengaluru, I got a call on my mobile (this was my mistake to pick up the call) when I was paying the bill, I did’nt remember how many sodexo i gave the cashier, but when I came back home & when I verified with the bill, there was a difference of ~ 200 Rs, he had cut down all the denominations by 2-3 numbers
So my advice to all the customers, plz re-check how many sodexo you have actually given & check how much the cashier entered in the bill. These cashiers are big time cheaters, plz be careful !!

Last saturday while i was purchasing from total mall airport road, the person who was taking the dals from rice and dal section murmered that i am torturing him…. I was waiting there 4 about 15 min… he was giving items who came later than me. So that wen i asked him 2 pack 4 me he told lyk this…h if d customers are nuisance 4 him, who compelled him to get a job at total mall…it is better that he sit at his home itself….stupid fellow
I was a regular customer here. i would hav purchased 4 more than Rs 20000 about last 1 year… but that was my last visit….again i am sure that i wont go there and vl stop as many customers(Our friends) going there.

Total Mall @ Madiwala has one of the horrible parking. The guys will do Vallet parking on weekends and after that there will be full scratches on the Vehicle. When you ask them, they will say it was not done by them and ask to leave. There is no security for the customer and the customer is at the mercy of them. Be careful before you walk in.
