Bangalore Bloggers Meet - Blog’a'Loreans
FUN!!! AWSOME! AMAZING!!!! EXCITED!! ADRENALIN RUSH!!!
all those just describes my state probably 7 hours back and my HYER State just getting Melted(It rained badly in Bangalore)!!! just after the my first ever blogger’s meet(im happy it happened so fast).
Friday 20th July
I awe my excitement to Jerry who called me up on friday evening by 3.30[ when i was hurring through my work just to catch the four O Clock bus back to where i stay(i hate working late on fridays -ssh…i just started getting work haha!!) ] to tell me about A Bangalore Bloggers Meet. Myself quite new to blogging[2 months young] i thought what i’ll do at a bloggers meet where BIG BIG bloggers might turn up say Words which i wont understand , what if the people are unfriendly coz i hardly know anyone. I Told Jerry I’ll ring him up on Sat at 10[ wow i called him up exactly at 10!! i keep my work eh!!] n tell him whether i can make it or not.
Thoughts, Second thoughts, just couldnt decide whether i should go or not . I ringed up another collegemate aka workmate and asked him if he is intrested. He turned me down!
Whatever the Crap I thought i’ll attend what if i can get people to read my Blogs thr or may be some friends?? 
I decided im gonne go and be there for an hour and see what the thing is!
Saturday 21st July
I slept late as i was trying to do a blog on search engines and was trying to generate some traffic for my efforts. Slept at 2am in the excitement hoping that at least this post can bring me HUGE traffic. I woke up by 8.30, logged in and checked the status 500 views in night to the post page…not bad!! did some quick rss reading and some mail checking. Called Jerry and Confirmed that i’m Coming.

11. 10 am
I reach Brewhaha[ did i spell it rite right!!! or wright?] met jerry outside and im in!….
I dint know what to do! I went in said a quick word with some people i saw in here and there…saw some people coming in saying Hello…..i just thought! Oh My god everyone knows each other?I asked jerry do u know anyone out here. He was calm he said he dosent know and just had a quick intro’s with some.
With Sanjukta coming in the meet kinda started! there where at first around 15+ people where there and later the figure went on to 40+. It all started with an introduction section[ it took nearly an hour for the introductions]. Some people’s the way they introduced themselves with a tint of humour!!
One of the First person’s whom i met there and got friendly was Cimpson [Meninweb] , another mallu!!! :). It was strange that all 3 Mallus came and sat together!!!
The intro section was good but it can be repetitive in all meets. So i would love to have a Profile page with a snap of the Blogger in the Upcoming Bangalore Blogger [Blog’a'lorean] Community which can have a quick info about the blogger and a snap [coz some people are remembered by faces rather than nicks or blog names].
Drinks where ordered in between and i went for a cold coffee..Then the main topic of discussion was the Bar camp which will be happening on the 28th and 29th of July at IIM Bangalore [ be there guys] and about the collectives. Talks where oriented mainly among the Collectives. In the mean time i managed to get a pownce invite from AJ [thanx AJ]. Also there was a discussion’s on Bloggers Doing something for society, Conducting a run[marathon] on August 15th and giving cash to orphanage was one of the idea that was put forward. Also Himanshu Seth had a word on their venture WINGS [ i’ll blog about it separately after getting to know more on that project].
In short the Meet was fun! I got to meet a lot of people. All promised to meet next week at the Bar CAMP Bangalore.
