Munnar Demolition Drive
Munnar Demolition Drive by the LDF government lead by VS Achuthananthan has been the biggest news in all channels like indiavision, manorama news and asianet global while i was back home in kerala enjoying my vacation.
The JCBz and the Bulldozers have done the Trick. Lots of hotels been crushed down to rubbles in the name of encroachment. These Hotels / resorts in Munnar bought the lands with proper documents( aadaram and munnadaram n all other tax receipts) legally certified by tahsildar. Now is it right to just Bring down all the savings of the owners who have invested their life n money in building these resorts(forget the big guns,there are lotsa small people who own resorts there) in the name of encroachment??. Isnt it because our system is correct that this things happened?? so i guess we shud start the drive right from the politicians and then to corrupt officials.
A Notice could have also be given inadvance so that the owners had some time to empty the places,so that the rest of the material wasnt destroyed. All the govt cared was to just to clean up the ground. Congrats VS you truely rule without lookin any face :). Still you gotta do more and think and do. U should have really made use of the buildings so that the govt gets some income, anyways what was built was built, atleast just bringing to rubbles structures worth crores wasnt a right act. We need to think a lot and convert thoughts to money if we need to make kerala BIG really BIG state 
I guess this time the demolition drive has shifted to other places. All this is it just a Cheap Publicity Stunt?? Whatever people are divided on thoughts and opinions. I just scrapped the thoughts that came into my mind. Do comment on it

just wanted to update here about the new happenings that got triggered due to munnar demolition drive. The polit buro has suspended Pinarayi vijayan and VS from polit buro with reasons stating that violating party terms(media war). VS will Still remain as the Chief Minister of Kerala

It is a fact that the STF is not demolishing buildings on encroached land but on land baught by people spending HARD EARNED MONEY.
if u look into the biased reports of the media one should understand the way of presentation.

Just consider the scenario: The land has patta still its called an encroachment.
we all know the stupid STF leader Suresh Kumar who proclaimed that the govt will recover Mammootty’s land because he had vanilla plants in the premises. Probably none of the plantations will exist. This denies a farmer the right to survive. What is the state if one cannot survive a cardomom fall. SUre, the activities of the govt will end up in suicides.
Is this justice? I should go by the first opinion that there is a mafia behind this. I have my own doubts whether all this buildings are being demolished to build a way for some other arab company to build a tourist spot.
The STF is surely being guided by some mafia. And look at the one sided reports of media. This strengthens my point. Have u ever seen any of the media especially India Vision showing the response of the affected??

Lets hope the people from Kerala will realize the true picture of the Munnar demolition and throw stones at the media for such biased reports..

well said sharoon! I know lotsa people who have put in their hard earn money in buying or building their dream in munnar. It’s pretty sad all these happened and now the stand by the govt has changed. Even the supreme court has complained saying it’s a shame on the part of govt. Due to sheer pressure now VS has said no land of political parties be seezed. Surely no channel does bring in reports of the not so fortunate who have lost their lands.
All these can make front page news for sometime…after that new news take over and the ones who suffer are the ones who have lost their bread.
