Invensys - is conducting a written test for Freshers on 2nd June 2007 at our office premises. The selected candidates will be offered as Apprentice-Trainees for a period of 1year. This walk in test would be only for internal referral candidates.
The prospective candidate should be a 2006 / 07 pass out in BE/BTech/ME/MTech (CSE, ECE, Instrumentation, EEE, ETE) with 70% and above and who are ready to join within a week from the date offered .
1. The test will be only for short listed candidates.
2. Short listed candidates would be issued a call letters with a unique Roll No.
3. Only those candidates with call letters will be allowed into the venue of the exam
4. The exam will be in General Aptitude, C/C++ with 30 questions each carrying 30 marks
5. Last date for sending in your references is 31st May 2007, 5:30 PM

DESCRIPTION
This project “Implementation of priority and round robin scheduler for RTK on ARM microcontroller” defines a real time kernel service scheduling which is implemented based on priority & round robin policy. A real time kernel is a set of software calls that provide for the creation of independent tasks timer management, intertask communication, memory management and resource management. Basic building block of RTK is task. Depending on the number of tasks it calculates the timing requirements and determines whether the real-time performance can be achieved.
In the scheduling service it saves the process status and stack information and inserts the current task in ready list then it applies scheduling policy in which it selects the highest priority task list. Switching is programmed to control the operation using assembly language with the help of microcontroller.

Project Profile
In this project an attempt is made for study the controlled aspect of 3-phase induction motor fed by voltage source inverter (vsi) which PWM control. The d-q model of 3-phase induction motor is considered using simulink of MATLAB for simulating induction motor. The fourier performance of 3-phase induction motor is accessed by simulation using conventional and fuzzy controller. The response of induction motor is sluggish with conventional controller. The fuzzy controller gets smooth transfer response on the other hand.
